It’s really annoying when this happens. You really, really, reaaaaally don’t want the help. Heck, you might not even know if you need it, you just need to try some more to find out. And it’s just this big, extra bother for your friend you’d really want to see just going their merry way leaving you alone with that pesky stupid thing you need to have done.
Then again, they are more than capable and with their help, needed or not, the job could be finished far more easily, far more efficiently… And in the end you will not have a say in the matter because they can do what they want, where they want and how they want, and trying to stop them would just divert your effort from where it is needed, cause a scene and be even futile in the end.
So okay, you can help, but let it be the last time. I don’t need your help! >(
