Heck, Oswald murdered a whole tribe of goblins in cold blood just because they helped themselves to the last vital energies of his friend who was dying anyway. Not to mention long after the fact, just out of petty vengeance…
Granted, come later years and lives, Oswald might have been able to save her (quite likely even), but by then it would have been far too late even without the goblins.
When the goblins died, they attacked him first with a daemon, and Oswald did give them every chance to leave the condemned apartment that was collapsing anyway, and Oswald didn’t target them, he targeted the building as a funeral pyre.
There were so many ways for him to go about it without killing them that the best way to describe would be claiming that just because someone stood in the way of a target and didn’t want to move, it was okay to shoot them with shotgun, ‘cose you were actually aiming for the target and that other person did shoot you with nerf-gun first, so… Fair is fair? XD
