In this second volume of Passing Queens and Making Homes, Oswald’s friends, Alicia, and Jones are desperate to rescue their father and people from the influence of an evil Ork Queen that seeks to destabilize and take over their kingdom.

Oswald goes into action with a magical gem, given to him by the siblings, to help bring down the Queen and her Ork army, while mysterious forces within and without the city seek to both hinder and help the fledgling sorcerer.
