I just wanted to drop in and let everyone know that Oswald is now on Kickstarter with volumes 1 and 2 of Passing Queens and Making Homes, included in the first volume is My First Day, where our intrepid little mouse began his saga 😀
There are a few things that have happened, first we are a, Project We Love, at Kickstarter and when we hit our funding goal everyone who backs for a physical level will receive a 6×9 print by the awesome Donny Hadiwidjaja, with colors by Carlos Moreno. Also for the first 45 physical backers, they will be receiving a pin and a coaster.
For all of you digital backers I haven’t forgotten you and I’m working on something special for all of you 🙂

Currently we’re running campaign on Kickstarter which can be seen here for The Oswald Chronicles: It Broke Free and Couldn’t Read, where we have Oswald finding a half dead warrior gnome named Dofon on his doorstep close to death. Dofon reveals how he’s hunting an ancient evil that took his family from him, and how a giant spider now protects the deadly beast. Experience the adventure unfold in issues 1 & 2 of a 4 issue limited series, each comic is 32 pages. Written by JD Calderon with art by Jade Gonzalez. (Kate’s Really Good at Hockey, La Noche de los Invunches, Ethan Hound)
The campaign is going well so we now have a stretch goal that’s coming up. I’ve done one before and I thought it looked awesome, so we’re going to do another metal trading card with an image from the future 😀

This trade offers up My First Day, and the first three issues to Passing Queens and Making Homes. We’ve already achieved our goal to print and we’re looking to hit our second stretch goal, a trading card with awesome art by Jade Gonzalez, featuring the cover of issue #2.
For those of you who already have the individual issues and are looking for something new, we’re also offering up the fourth installment in The Star Trimmer series of stories, a prose chap book series that follows Oswald as he recounts his life in dream as Emperor of the Mar. The title of this volume is: A Return to Dream, in this chapter Oswald discovers that his long lost daughter is still alive, and the remaining Mar that survived the destruction of Windara, the capital city of The Mar, are about to be conquered by an old advisory of Oswald’s.
