See? Oswald and I think a lot alike. What chance, indeed?
I wonder if there really is something Oswald can’t beat or least be up to par with…
But to cow someone… You never cease to learn when you keep your eyes, ears and heart open, I tell you.
@Velgar. He talks with freaking gods as equals. I would not want to meet something that could take on and beat Oswald. Though he does seem to treat “the good Lord” with much respect and reverence.
Uhl: My fictional protagonist has the potential to beat even someone like Oswald, howbeit they would be on the same side (same Lord, you see) and almost certainly would like each other a lot. So really power isn’t the issue, motivation is. Meeting someone with Real Power that was out to help you would be good, not bad.
@Velgar: I’m not sure what your somewhat mixed statement aims to hit, but in any case I can’t bring myself to be too concerned about Baba; she’s pretty much an old cow anyway.
As you know, Oswald has consistently demonstrated his open-mindedness and open-heartedness; it’s just a good thing for him that he can outpower and outwit those who would take advantage of those things (again, like my own protagonist). Baba could learn from that example.
@Rakkav: Don’t know if you’ll read this anymore, but the latter part of my comment was just noting that I had never even heard of saying “to cow someone”. Nothing really to do with Baba there.
