It Came Seeking Me 12 8 Comments Let me guess what happens: The lord refuses and then they pay for it like in one of Aesop’s fables. Yes, but how do they pay They get turned into monsters? Not exactly, lol me bets he has to eat them, and every other fae he comes across for refusing to feed the old woman, and he’ll never be satisfied until he is dead. I would say they pay through the nose, literally perhaps? They pay by becoming very, very hungry? Or at least one of them does? Hmmm, I would guess that the father is Tristram, gets cursed with a hunger he can never sate, and his first victims will be his family!
