Now, now. Remember that we all had to learn to understand clock at one point or another. Oswald is still learning.
But as cute as a scene this is, I can’t help but wonder… Just what kind of world does this girl live in when she so eagerly accepts that mouse, if not mice, can talk? Sure she’s a young child, but still. Not to mention how alien the mice took Oswald as and then considering that humans are probably the least tolerant to alien features in every day life…
Yeeeeaaah… I’m probably thinking too much again. Superbly cute scene. ^^
Lets roll with that. And who knows? Maybe she’s a bit lonely, so talking friend of her own, who by size and nature can’t really pose that much danger of whatsoever towards her…
And Lord knows I’d like a talking mouse friend. :D

Actually, for a small child, this reaction is normal. Think “imaginary friend.” Now if Oswald’s “first human” was an adult, there would be much running, screaming and all the wonderful trappings of panic and hysteria.
