Looking at Malkit’s expressions, it reminded me of something. Did anyone else think he was drunk in the first few pages he entered in?

I think he’s just sobered up. A lot.
Did anyone else ever see the old animated “Rikki Tikki Tavi?” Cause all I can think of is that part where Rikki is taunting Nagaina, hopping back and forth, chanting “Trick! Trick! Trick!” after saving Teddy from certain death.

@GiftofGalliard: Yes, I saw Rikki Tikki Tavi (I believe it’s on YouTube in segments – good ol’ Chuck Jones!) and that mongoose and this mouse share the characteristics of a special kind of psychological Trickster. I’m thinking they would have the same basic personality type.
And yes, Jeff’s avatar simply oozes coolness. I keep switching out mine because I’m not satisfied with how that Gravatar looks on the page, especially when small, yet I keep on being drawn to it. A woman trained in depth psychology wonders if the image of the full Earth isn’t my “mandela”: my round symbol of psychic balance.
Well, I’ll have to think about a change. I do have alternatives.
Or perhaps Oswald is using the same Introverted Thinking in a Heroic way that I (and Rikki-Tivi-Tavi) use in a Deceiving way (as the Trickster). Either way, you’d need that mental faculty to manipulate the fabric of the universe the way these two are, and it looks like the mouse (INTP?) has just outsmarted the fae (ENFP?) at his own game.
