@Uhl: Not to mention there is small possibility that those wouldn’t even work. Depending how the “you don’t see us” -works. Could, in some random scenarios, end up with rather messy bed and nothing more. And THAT would be hard to explain to parents.
And now Oswald discovers he’s set apart in yet another way, although he has no comprehension of what it means yet.
