11 Days to go
Hello everyone
There’s 11 days left on my Kickstarter and I’m here to announce something that’s really cool, an old friend of mine Chip Wallace a fantastic comic book artist has offered to do a full body commission for anyone who’s willing to kick in $250 as a pledge, you’ll also be receiving all of the downloads and 5 signed copies of the book. This is a one shot deal so if you want some awesome art by a great comic professional this may be the pledge for you. You can check out Chip’s bio where you can see the long list of his many accomplishments within the comic’s community: http://comicbookdb.com/creator.php?ID=1607
Also if any of you are on the fence about getting yourself a copy of the book here’s a random page from My First Day, enjoy and go order a copy today
Here are two books I just recently read:
The Twelve by J. Michael Straczynski and Chris Weston
The story of twelve super heroes being locked away in stasis for 60 years isn’t something that’s new but JMS makes it both fun and interesting in this twelve issue miniseries that took several years to accomplish due to some issues he had with Marvel. The story of these twelve people and who they are and how they find new paths in a new world is an interesting one and I hope he revisits it again, although it looks like something he created to be a spring board for other creators to leap from.
The Manhattan Projects, Vol. 1: Science Bad by Tracy Hickman and Nick Pitarra
Strange science, multi dimensions, Einstein cracking open new worlds and being dragged away by his dumber self, serial killing scientists, now if this sounds like a good time to you than you may want to pick up this book. Tracy Hickman has taken a giant drink of Morrison and Ellis stew and The Manhattan Project exploded from his head. I don’t know if he survived but the rest of us are benefitting from his brain explosions, this is a great book and I’m looking forward to reading the next volume.
That’s it for today and thank you one and all and just remember keep living the dream
