Hello everyone
I was intending to do a podcast this week but things got away from me so I’m just going to do a small post and let everyone know I’ll be at Boston Anime this weekend. We’ll be in the artist alley at tables 36 & 37 so come on by say hello and pick up a few books
Here’s a pic from my super secret project that Daphne and I are working on
Next week I’ll get together with Daphne do a con review, and a few book reviews.
Also here’s a little something I’m looking forward to seeing
Thanks, take care and please keep voting for Oswald on topwebcomics.com

A new “Space Battleship Yamato” series?! SWEEEEEEEEEEEET!!!
Nice secret project. Different style to it too: reminds me rather of Art Deco.
I’ll wait for the glorious English-captioned version, thanks!
I’m old school I was watching Anime when we didn’t have dubbing or subtitles
When they started dubbing I was disappointed because the dialogue was usually very bland, so not understanding what they’re saying sometimes isn’t so bad.
Yes, it’s being illustrated by my wife Daphne Lage.
I finally got her to break down and draw an Oswald Chronicle
Congratulations on that, JDC-ONE! Mildly surprised that she hasn’t done it sooner.
It was fascinating to watch the clip without subtitles or dubbing but if they’d do dubbing of the caliber they did on MILLENNIUM ACTRESS (one of my favorite films of ANY kind and top-notch anime as well), then there wouldn’t be a problem…
As it was, only because I saw the original YAMATO (dubbed) could I follow everything that I really wanted to follow, although kudos to the animators for making everything as visually based as they did…
